Key Health Observances in November 2025: Diabetes Awareness Month is dedicated to raising awareness about diabetes, its prevention, and management strategies. National Alzheimer’s Disease Awareness Monthobservance aims to educate the public about Alzheimer’s disease and the importance of early detection and support for caregivers. Lung Cancer Awareness Month focuses on raising awareness about lung cancer, its risk factors, and the importance of early detection through screenings. National Family Caregivers Month is a time to recognize and support family caregivers who provide essential care to loved ones with health issues.
The Airlie House located in Warrenton, VA is offering free lunch each Wednesday for Government workers. They must show their gov’t ID.
From Airlie House:
Every Wednesday while the government shutdown remains in effect, we’re opening the Garden Room in the Airlie Main House from 12:00pm-1:30pm as a welcoming space for federal workers impacted by the government shutdown.
Enjoy a free lunch buffet and non-alcoholic drinks—just show your federal ID. Anyone without a government ID is welcome to join you for $20!
We at Airlie are here for those impacted by the shutdown. This is our small way to serve those who serve us every day. Every effort counts, and we’re here to make this time just a little easier.
