Wednesday in the Word Bible Study will not meet on April 22, 29, May 6. Please plan to attend Serve God and Be a Disciple in Difficult Times Bible Study, a virtual five-part series presented by the OGBC Christian Education Ministry, which explores how we can continue serving God and living as faithful disciples in difficult times by making a deeper connection with Christ and each other after Resurrection Sunday. Oak Grove Family, Friends, and surrounding community, let’s come together—united in purpose, growing in faith, and building one another up as the body of Christ. You don’t want to miss a single session. The first session was held on Wednesday, April 8, and will continue each Wednesday until May 4 at 6:00 pm. Introducing the Oak Grove Baptist Church Rideshare for Designated Special Events! Do you need a ride to church special events? Or do you have a car and a heart to serve? Our new Rideshare Program connects volunteer drivers with members and guests who need transportation.
- Riders: Register for assistance by contacting the coordinator, Calvin Britt at 703-855-1057 or wcbonly@aol.com. Drivers: Sign up to volunteer and help make sure no one is left behind.
- Our primary means of communication for the rideshare will be via phone.
- Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to worship and community. Let’s share our blessings by sharing our rides!
- Sunday School Class is held on Sundays at 8:30 am via Zoom and at 9:00 am
- in-person and in the Fellowship Hall and via Zoom.
- Building Foundations: New and Restorative Members Class meets on Sundays at 9:00 am.
- OGBC Hybrid Worship Service is held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am
- including in person worship in the OGBC sanctuary and initial viewing via Facebook and YouTube.
- Women’s Ministry meets on the 1st Sunday after the morning worship service.
- Trustee Ministry meets 1st Monday at 7:00 pm.
- Christian Education Ministry meets 2nd Monday at7:00 pm.
- Clergy Team meets 1st Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
- Budget Ministry meets on the 3rd Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
- “Neicie Mae Fisher Bible Study” group meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 am.
- Wednesday “In the Word Bible Study” is held at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays (Canceled until May 6).
- Pastor Search Committee meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.
- Personnel Ministry meets every 3rd Wednesday at 5:30 pm.
- Men’s Bible Study – Thursdays at 7:00 pm.
- Deacon Ministry meets Thursdays before the 2nd Sunday at 7:00 pm.
- Leadership meetings are being held on the 3rd Thursday at 7:00 pm.
- Missionary Ministry meets 1st Saturday at10:30 am.
- Intercessory Prayer Ministry meetson 3rd Saturday at 9:00 am.
- Deaconess Ministry meets Saturday before 2nd Sunday at 10:00 am.
The OGBC Nursery Is Now Open, every Sunday, 10:45 am – 12:30 pm for ages Infant to 4 years old.

Our honorees will be celebrated with other selected lifetime members from local churches, Saturday, April 18, 10:00 am at the Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks 11787 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in Fairfax, VA 22033. The Fourth Sunday of each month at OGBC is Youth Sunday. We hope to see you. Please come out to worship and show support for our youth.
