(NEW) November is Stewardship Month at OGBC

Stewardship is the offering of our entire selves to God — our time, our talents, and our treasures. Everything we have belongs to Him, and we are called to use these gifts to serve others and advance His Kingdom.  Throughout November, the OGBC Trustees encourage you to renew your commitment to honor God through faithful giving, dedicated service, and purposeful living:

• Reflect and recommit by seeking God’s guidance in your giving and stewardship.
• Share your gifts by offering your time and talents in support of OGBC ministries.
• Witness and encourage by sharing personal testimonies of God’s goodness and provision.
• Grow in faith through prayer, study, and reflection on God’s Word about stewardship and service.

“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.”

🙏 A Message of Support for Our OGBC Family

Dear OGBC Family,

We pray that you are well and standing strong in faith. We recognize that recent changes and unexpected challenges, like a furlough, can create significant financial and emotional strain.

Please know that your church family at OGBC wants to stand with you. We are offering confidential furlough support to provide prayer and practical help to our members during this difficult time.

If you or your family are currently experiencing a furlough and need assistance, please go to Member-login to determine what confidential options are available to you.

We want to remove any burden of embarrassment and insecurity — your request will be handled with discretion, confidentiality, and care by a small, dedicated team.

We are praying for your peace and provision. Let us serve you.

We are committed to supporting your needs for the full duration of this furloughed crisis. We will also have a weekly intercessory prayer session for our furloughed workers at a date and time YTBD.

• Sunday School Class is held on Sundays at 8:30 am via Zoom and at 9:00 am in-person and in the Fellowship Hall and via Zoom.
• Building Foundations: New and Restorative Members Class meets on Sundays at 9:00 am.
• OGBC Hybrid Worship Service is held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am including in person worship in the OGBC sanctuary and initial viewing via Facebook and YouTube.
• Women’s Ministry meets on the 1st Sunday after the morning worship service.
• Trustee Ministry meets 1^st Monday at 7:00 pm.
• Christian Education Ministry meets 2^nd Monday at 7:00 pm.
• Clergy Team meets 1^st Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
• Budget Ministry meets on the 3^rd Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
• Neicie Mae Fisher Bible Study group meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 am.
• Wednesday in the Word Bible Study is held at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays. 
• (NEW) WITW Bible Study will not be held on November 19 and 26; resumes on December 3
• Pastor Search Committee meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.
• Personnel Ministry meets every 3^rd Wednesday at 5:30 pm.
• Men’s Bible Study – Thursdays at 7:00 pm. 
• Deacon Ministry meets Thursdays before the 2^nd Sunday at 7:00 pm.
• Leadership meetings are being held on the 3^rd Thursday at 7:00 pm.
• Missionary Ministry meets 1^st Saturday at 10:30 am. 
• Intercessory Prayer Ministry meets on 3^rd Saturday at 9:00 am.
• Deaconess Ministry meets Saturday before 2^nd Sunday at 10:00 am.
