(IMPORTANT) Flu Season Precautions. Self-care is important as we are in the midst of greatly increased flu cases, and other respiratory conditions in our area. Wearing a mask in the building is always an option. It is suggested that you worship online if you are experiencing extreme flu like symptoms. The “Meet and Greet segment” will be modified in a manner to reduce close contact.

Introducing the Oak Grove Baptist Church Rideshare for Designated Special Events! Do you need a ride to church special events? Or do you have a car and a heart to serve? Our new Rideshare Program connects volunteer drivers with members and guests who need transportation.

• Riders: Register for assistance by contacting the coordinator, Calvin Britt at 703-855-1057 or wcbonly@aol.com. Drivers: Sign up to volunteer and help make sure no one is left behind.

•  Our primary means of communication for the rideshare will be via phone.

• Together, we can ensure that everyone has access to worship and community. Let’s share our blessings by sharing our rides!

• OGBC Hybrid Worship Service is held on Sunday mornings at 10:30 am 
  • including in person worship in the OGBC sanctuary and initial viewing via Facebook and YouTube.
• Women’s Ministry meets on the 1st Sunday after the morning worship service.
• Trustee Ministry meets 1^st Monday at 7:00 pm.
• Christian Education Ministry meets 2^nd Monday at7:00 pm.
• Clergy Team meets 1^st Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
• Budget Ministry meets on the 3^rd Tuesday at 7:00 pm.
• “Neicie Mae Fisher Bible Study” group meets on Wednesdays at 10:00 am.
• Wednesday “In the Word Bible Study” is held at 7:00 pm on Wednesdays. 
• Pastor Search Committee meets on the 2^nd and 4^th Wednesdays at 7:30 pm.
• Personnel Ministry meets every 3^rd Wednesday at 5:30 pm.
• Men’s Bible Study – Thursdays at 7:00 pm. 
• Deacon Ministry meets Thursdays before the 2^nd Sunday at 7:00 pm.
• Leadership meetings are being held on the 3^rd Thursday at 7:00 pm.

We Rejoice in announcing OGBC’s 2026 New Life Member Honorees of The Baptist General Convention of Virginia (BGCVA) for their distinguished service to the Lord: Sister Dorothy Carpenter and Deaconess Emma Ambrose. Our honorees will be celebrated with other selected lifetime members from local churches, Saturday, April 18, 10:00 am at the Fairfax Marriott at Fair Oaks 11787 Lee Jackson Memorial Highway in Fairfax, VA 22033. (See attachment for ticket price and additional information.)
