Baptism Sunday. Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried and risen Christ. We are continuing to rejoice in the Lord as we continue with our “New Day” theme. We have been blessed with 17 candidates for the Baptism service that will take place at 10:00 am Sunday morning, September 8, 2024. Come out and be in the sanctuary before 10:00 am to witness the Baptisms and support the candidates.
Sunday School Update. Due to the passing of Trustee Vern Morris’ brother, the Grown Folk Virtual Sunday School Class is cancelled for Sunday, September 8, 2024. The Perfecting The Saints Hybrid Sunday School Class is also cancelled due to a large number of new members being baptized and to make the Rev. Dr. Hennie Brown, Jr. Fellowship Hall available to baptismal participants and their families. The SS Superintendents Ambers and Martin thank everyone for their cooperation. Sunday School will resume on Sunday, September 15, 2024
