We will begin collecting items for our Social Distancing Supply Drive to assist our Sterling Community and beyond. Although these products have been in high demand if you could spare one pack of the following that will be helpful    Water  Toilet paper  Paper towels Disinfectant products  Sanitation products  Donations will accepted beginning Tuesday March 31. Please drop off your materials in the receptacle bins outside of the main entrance.   

Please join us in conjunction with First Baptist Church of Vienna in our efforts to provide our sterling community with weekly food distributions. This will be a FREE distribution of fresh produce right from the front parking lot of our church building. Please claim your bag of produce no later than each Monday before the weekly Thursday distribution. You may claim it via an email rsvp to [email protected]

Please join us as we welcome in the 2020-2021 school year for our students as we go to God in prayer. This will be a virtual event hosted on our Facebook Page, YouTube Channel, and on our Twitter/Periscope page. All are invited to join in as we pray!

SAVE THE DATE! Oak Grove Baptist Church (OGBC) is hosting a Community Day and Health Fair on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. OGBC is looking forward to fellowship and fun with everyone. There will be food and activities for all. We’ll also highlight various Ministries; share health-related resources; provide onsite shredding services; and host a Back-to-School drive and more. We’re calling on ALL Ministries to volunteer and invite the community to learn more about Kingdom building. National Back to Church Sunday is on September 17, 2023. It is a day for Christians to invite others to church and share the love of Jesus Christ. Are you planning to attend or invite someone? Our doors are open! Come on back!

Planning for OGBC FY 2024 Budget has begun. All members of the Budget Ministry and Trustee Ministry are encouraged to attend 2024 Church Budgeting Protocols & Preparations offered on Monday, September 18, 2023, at 12:00 Noon and 6:00 pm as part of the Baptist General Convention of Virginia Ministry Training Track. This training will help and support us as we develop the FY 2024 OGBC Budget. See registration details under Bulletin Board as well as on one of the attachments.

  Church Use. Lluvias de Gracia will be having an event at OGBC on Saturday, October 28, 2023, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. OGBC Ministries should avoid scheduling events at the church during this time.

Church Cleanout. The OGBC Trustee Ministry encourages individuals as well as ministries to take time to identify items that need to be kept and those that can be trashed by November 1, 2023. Any personal items that individuals would like to retain should also be gathered by the time. Stay tuned for an announcement of a specific date for an end of the year clean up. Let’s make sure that our facility provides an opportunity for a peaceful worship experience. Let Us Come Into His Presence With thanksgiving. Join us for Thanksgiving Service on Thursday, November 16, 2023, at 7:00 pm. Our guest preacher will be one of our own sons, Pastor George M. Mink. He will be joined by members of Second Mount Olive Baptist Church, Hamilton, VA. We will also be joined by Pastor Eugene Pearson and the Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Aldie, VA church family. Join us in the Rev. Dr. Hennie Brown, Jr. Fellowship Hall for food and fellowship following the service. See attached flyer.
