Oak Grove Baptist Church 155th Anniversary/Pastor Farewell Service

OGBC will celebrate its 155^th Church Anniversary during October 2023. Members are encouraged to contribute $155.00 to the Pay Down Mortgage (PDM) Campaign. All contributions collected will be applied to the principal balance of the church’s mortgage with John Marshall Bank. Please note “PDM-155” with your contribution.

• Calling All Choir Members. Pastor Spurlock has made an appeal for a Mass Choir to sing as part of our 155th Anniversary Worship Service on Sunday, October 15, 2023, as well as on Sunday, October 22, 2023, during the “Farewell Service”. Mass Choir rehearsals will be held at the church on Saturday, October 14 and Saturday, October 21 at 10:00 am. The colors for the Anniversary Service will be electric/royal blue and gold. The color for the fourth Sunday is to be determined. Let us rise to the occasion as we celebrate the historical and spiritual significance of OGBC to its members and community, past, present and in years to come and in showing our gratitude and love for the manservant, who God placed at OGBC to serve as Senior Pastor for 12 years. Let Us Lift our voices and sing to the Glory of God.
