- Herod acted as friend to the Magi, but he wasn’t.
- God gives us a sign to follow Him, although it may not be a star.
- The Magi gave Jesus three gifts – gold, frankincense & myrrh.
- Gold – represents Jesus as Kingly gift.
- Frankincense – represents Jesus as purely Kingly,
- Myrrh – represents the sacrifice and death Jesus would experience.
- Jesus re-gifted each gift the Magi gave to Him to us.
- Being born again is being re-gifted.
- It’s not about earthly gifts but spiritual gifts.
